Hari ini aku akan
bercerita tentang lagu favoritku yang dibawakan oleh Robbie Williams.
Siapa sih yang gak kenal dengan cowok ini. Aku suka banget dengan cowok
ini setelah dia membawakan lagunya She's the One. Saat itu memang aku
dibkin jatuh hati dengan lagu itu.
Robbie Williams
merupakan penyanyi berkebangsaan Inggris.Dia adalah anggota kelompok pop
Take That. Williams telah menjual lebih dari 55 juta album di seluruh
dunia. Dia adalah artis solo terlaris Inggris di Inggris dan artis terlaris non-Latin di Amerika Latin.
Enam dari album nya adalah salah satu top 100 album paling laris di
Inggris. Dia juga telah dihormati dengan lima belas Brit Awards-lebih
daripada-artis lainnya dan tujuh Awards ECHO. Pada tahun 2004, ia
dilantik ke Inggris Music Hall of Fame setelah terpilih sebagai "Artis
Terbesar 1990-an." Dan kali ini dia kembali dengan albumnya yang baru,
"Swings Both Ways" dan lagu andalan yang aku suka banget adalah berjudul
"Go Gentle".
Dalam album ini
sepertinya RW (Sebutan untuk Robin Williams) memang berkeinginan untuk
mencetak kesuksesan ulang yang pernah dibuatnya dalam album swing yang
pernah dibawakannya dulu. Kalo dulu lagu swing yang oke banget karena
dia berduet dengan Nicole Kidmen, kali ini bukan karena ada dia, tapi
karena anaknya.
Yup, lagu ini adalah
lagu pop mid-tempo yang di dalam liriknya dia ingin mengajarkan
seseorang tentang arti dari kesulitan hidup, bagaimana hidup berada
dalam sorotan, baik media atau orang-orang di sekitarnya, dan bagaimana
menghadapi mereka.

sebenarnya Robi Williams ingin berpesan kepada anaknya untuk tidak takut

sekarang bisa berubah. Umur memang bisa merubah segalanya ya...
